# SCS Staking Rewards
You can harvest your SCS earned from staking anytime. You need to restake your NFT every 24 hours to keep earning SCS.
When harvested half of the SCS is added to your balance immediately, while the other half is distributed over a 30-day period on your calendar.
You can claim rewards at `00:00`, `08:00`, and `16:00` UTC. Waiting until `16:00` UTC lets you claim all rewards together. When you claim SOL at one of these unlock times, it automatically triggers the claiming of SCS. Please note that unclaimed rewards will expire.
